The television show Sesame Street has touched the lives of countless children for decades here in the United States and around the world. Many of those children grew up to have children who watch Sesame Workshop programming today. GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students is excited to present another installment of the Speaker Series: Conversations on Early Childhood. This is a virtual event where parents and caregivers can learn once again with those at Sesame, and in turn learn more with our children.
Please join us for a conversation with Dr. Rosemarie Truglio, as she speaks with GEEARS Board Chair Stephanie Blank and you about her latest book on parenting, her work at Sesame Workshop, and how it all ties in raising children here in Georgia.
Dr. Truglio will share with us her experiences from her work socializing and educating children through media, and share new ideas from her book that parents can use to become even better educators for their children. We will also connect these handy ideas to resources and groups already here in our State, so parents can get support in taking action.
Join us for this free virtual event, September 15th, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm EDT, to talk with Dr. Rosemarie Truglio about how Georgia can better learn, grow, and play with our kids!
